A story about Ascension Indiana’s work with Fiat Chrysler Automobiles to run a clinic exclusively for its employees garnered national media attention. According to PBS News Hour and several other news outlets, Fiat Chrysler Automobiles has offered its employees a no-cost healthcare plan and chose St. Vincent, part of Ascension Indiana, to operate a clinic to care for them.

The FCA Family Health & Wellness Center will provide primary and preventive care for approximately 22,000 employees and family members involved in the partnership.

John Lynch, MD, Medical Director and Primary Care Physician at the FCA Family Health & Wellness Center, highlights the compassionate, personalized care the company’s employees have already come to expect.

According to the article, Amanda, a Fiat Chrysler Automobiles employee, took her toddler to the clinic after he developed a fever and a rash. She said the visit felt more like an annual checkup.

“They were really just getting to know … everything about him,” she said. “It was just real nice, a different setting from most doctors’ offices.”
