For the third year in a row, Medxcel has been recognized as one of the 50 Most Engaged Workplaces in North America by Achievers. This year Medxcel also received the distinction of being named one of the Achievers Elite 8. The Elite 8 are the best of the best in one of the following categories: Leadership, Communication, Culture, Rewards and Recognition, Professional and Personal Growth, Accountability and Performance, Vision and Values, and Corporate Social Responsibility. Medxcel was awarded the Elite 8 designation in the category of Corporate Social Responsibility.

“Whether it’s our social responsibility to our associates, our customers or our communities, Medxcel strives to make a difference – it’s engrained in our DNA,” said Jennefer Pursifull, Medxcel Vice President of Marketing.

This Thanksgiving, Medxcel Central Office associates contributed to an annual food and hygiene drive campaign to support a food bank in Pike Township, part of Indianapolis. Nearly 2,000 items were collected and delivered with the help of the Medxcel landscaping team. The food bank representative remembered Medxcel from the year before and said she looked forward to the much-needed, truck-filled delivery each year.

To celebrate, Medxcel leaders gave back in their own way by preparing 15 turkeys for the annual Medxcel Thanksgiving dinner, providing food for both the Central Office associates and leftovers for three local fire stations.

“It’s important to take the time to gather together and recognize associates for their contributions and the organization’s many blessings,” Jennefer said. “While Corporate Social Responsibility can be difficult to define, at our core we believe Corporate Social Responsibility defines us – it is simply what we do and how we do it.”
