This Thursday, Jordan Asher, MD, Chief Medical Officer and Chief Integration Officer, MissionPoint Health Partners, part of Ascension Care Management, will serve as a panelist at a Bipartisan Policy Center (BPC) forum on reforming the healthcare delivery system. As part of the discussion, BPC will release two white papers on alternative payment models designed to accelerate the transition to organized systems of care, including accountable care organizations, medical homes, and bundled payments as a means to reduce costs and improve quality healthcare in the U.S.
The event will be moderated by Sheila Burke, a member of the Ascension Board of Directors and Strategic Advisor at Baker, Donelson, Bearman, Caldwell & Berkowitz, PC, and will include remarks from Congresswoman Diane Black (R-Tenn.) and Patrick Conway, MD, Deputy Administrator for Innovation & Quality, Chief Medical Officer, CMS.
